The open valley is a large stretch of flat land. Your mission is to run across, eventually building your speed to do so in a quicker manner and without having to stop. Be prepared to not make it your first try or tries, for it requires extreme endurance and speed.

I'll be looking for your description of your wolves movements and willingness to let your wolf fail on occasion.

(In my case, Corlissa, beta next in command will judge my training)
Rank wanted: My rank dun need training, just wanna train to withhold my standing.
Training completed thus far: None(:
Training still needed: Technically none but I'mma train anyway.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Try numero uno.
I encroached on the unfamiliar portion of my territory, faintly remembering the purpose I gave it long ago. "Eh, might as well give it back use" I muttered, raking my brain for what it was I planned to use the area for. "Training! Run across, yippee" I barked, as with this thought came the memory of other training areas. "Oh yes, I got this. Since I'm here, might as well train" I shrugged. I leaned back on my heels and sprang forward, releasing the tension on my muscles. My forepaws struck the ground and my legs folded, and straightened once more and with the aid of my back legs propelled me forward. I kept in with this rhythmic motion splitting distance quickly. I stumbled, my paw getting caught in an uneven dip in the landscape. I didn't allow myself to strike the ground but regained my balance, but while doing so I broke stride and began running at an uneven, jerky pace. It took me a few more long strides to regain my steady pace but my body was tiring, now nearly halfway to the end of the valley. I let my tongue loll out of my open mouth, my torso heaving with the effort to keep myself going. After I had pushed myself to my limits, I was still only three quarters of the way to my destination. I forced myself to stop, slowing my strides ever so steadily until I was going at a slow walk. I turned my direction back to the den and walked slowly back, my chest still heaving from the run.
(Eh... this puts it into perspective for you. Fenris as most of you know is the most fit in running in this pack, maybe ever due to his structure, yet even he couldn't complete this course.)
Try 2
I padded to the edge of the large expanse of land. My stomach growled with hunger but I ignored it, telling myself I'd hunt later. I didn't think about how my hunger would effect my energy level until I had already begun my run. I streaked across the ground, churning up the ground as I went. I kept my body low to the ground. I tired out quicker than the last time, my energy sapped from hunger. I slowed to a stop, panting heavily. I growled at myself for being foolish and just made my way back to the den.
