I had been in the zoo for a few days. The zookeepers only gave us small amounts of food, enough for me to devour in minutes. I growled anytime a wolf came near, so now they avoided me.

We had to get Leah out-I knew that. So I dressed as their zookeeper after sticking the real one in the attic out my house-the attic was soundproof, of course-and slipped in one night to let Leah out. "Go Leah! I can morph to keep the others away, but you have to be quick."

I mumbled. "To weak to run, might as well stay. Don't feed us enough" I stood up anyway and headed in a slow trot to the gate she had left open.

"Just go." I hiss, and once Leah is out the gate, I leave and close it behind me before running home to release the keeper and giver her back her ID card.

I left the zoo far behind me. I didn't head home, not to face my mother after days of disapearing.

I morphed and caught up to Leah, padding besides her. "You okay? Besides the fact that they fed you next to nothing?" I asked concernedly.

"I'm fine" I mumbled, shaking my head. I veered to the left, away from my home and civilization all together. I was scared to change, for I had been in my wolf form for over a week.

I looked around warily, more cautious then ever before. I spotted (Name remembering fail) "Why are you following me?" I growled slightly annoyed. "I thanked you for saving me, what else do you want?" I snapped.

(Shes just... idk a lot more wary of everything, don't feel insulted)
