Evergreen Dens

Cor ears falls back and follows Fenirs. She let's out a short growl and stands beside him. Her ears twitch at all the other wolves that filled her nose and she glares at the male that was a little bigger than her, awaiting for his answer.-

I glanced back at Corlissa, signalling for her not to attack. I turned my attention back to the wolf and raised my head, my tail sticking straight out behind me. I faltered for a second, catching a faint, yet familiar scent. I shook it off and kept my eyes locked on the large wolf.

Cor looks at Fernis signal and nods, yet she didnt move from his side ready to attack if needed to. Her tail sway back and forth and she growls between her teeth not liking the numbers of their pack. 'If there is to be a fight we will surely be out numbered' Cor shook her head at the thought.-

I couldn't shake the scent, but stepped closer to the male. He growled and backed up ever so slightly. "Don't come near me" He said through clenched teeth. I took another step just to show I don't take orders lightly.

Cor felt even more unease hearing the comment from the male wolf. She watches as Fernis walks closer to the wolf and glares at the other wolves making sure they wouldnt attack. She looks at Fernis whining a bit- "Please be careful" -She whispers.-

I grinned, still looking at the wolf. "I may not prefer to fight, but that doesn't mean I'm totally soft" I replied to Cor. I walked in a circle around the wolf, looking at his body structure. He was tall, almost as much as I. He had a lot of muscle. "Your slow" I whispered to myself. The rest of his pack consisted of fairly small wolves, probably part coyote or some far off wolf breed, like red. They shied away as I neared, fearful of my sheer size.

(Sorry, Fen is really cocky and intimidating for size. I'm not making him all superior or anything )

She gives a small smile- "I know just please." -She watches as Fernis circles the male and Cor's ears perks looking at one of the wolves. She growled slightly. 'Why is she here, she took over my pack so what happen?' She questioned herself, the she-wolf known as Souless stepped forward toward Cor. Cor grins at her- "I suggest you not come over here with your bullshit, Im much stronger than before" -Souless rolled her eyes and sits in front of Cor and she spoke as if she was amused.- "So you found another pack huh ? We should take over this one as well." -Cor snarled- "I swear you touch anyone I'll rip you throat out"

I snarled at the female wolf who stepped out. I snapped at the air around her neck before turning away. "Don't think about it" I said smugly. I caught the scent again and glanced into the group of wolves. I thought I saw something brown flash, a taller wolf than the rest, more normal. I rolled my eyes, thinking myself ridiculous.

Soulness laughed- "Looks like I struck a nerve" -Cor growls rolling your her eyes- "Why do you keep driving packs out of their homes there's no purpose of it" -The she-wolf got up and circled Cor. Cor followed Soulness watching every move. Soulness spoke harshly- "Because I believe there shouldnt be packs that are weak enough to fend for them self's. Like this one." -Cor snarled- "Watch your mouth"

"We are not weak, but stronger in ways you will never know. Maybe not fighting, or numbers. But oh, strong we are" I laughed, standing in front the the pack. A wolf from the back of the pack spoke up, I flicked my ears toward the voice, familiar. "Come on, stop it. Why do we have to bother them, they seem fine enough" The wolf barked.

Soulness rolls eyes still circling Cor- "If your pack is soo "Strong" Why is she in here" -Pointing at Cor. She flinched back to the noise from the wolf- "Shut up you worthless mutt !" -Soulness snarled. Cor laughs- "Looks like her struck a nerve"

I looked to the leader, still unmoving. "You should listen to that one" I shrugged. The other wolf barked out again. "Ya know boss, Your mom should have told you not to mess with Fen, he is a god after all"
I winced, "Wolf, show yourself. I'm no god, nor want to be. I am named after one, yes." I growled. I saw a lump moving through the wolves until a brown wolf with a black ear, tail tip, and paw emerged. "Koby" I whispered, my breath gone. I grinned and wagged my tail, "Join me brother, why are you fighting with this... this group?" I asked.

I turned my back on the pack that had held me. "Fenris, you have grown." I smiled, "This, this filthy group of bests forced me in. It was the only way for my mate to live. We had just had our second litter and then he came" I sneered, glaring at the wolf that commanded the pack.

"Your fine now" I smiled, happy to see my friend. "I had thought you died, the thought clouded my brain for ever so much time. I think you would serve well as hunter, after all you taught me to hunt" I grinned.

"Yes, maybe I can be a mentor when pup are in need. Have any of your own yet?" I asked Fen with a smirk. I had almost completely forgotten about the menacing wolves, just feet away.

I frowned. "No, neither do I have a mate. Not really wanting one" I grumbled, glancing back at the wolves every now and then.

"Sorry to hear." I sad, feeling bad for asking. "Why do you not want a mate?" I asked, "They are wonderful, always having someone to back you up. Kira was good at bringing my spirits up" I added.

"Mates and I don't mix. No one sees me for who I am. Its either you hate me for my markings, or only love me for them. You love me for rank, never personality. I think it would be wonderful to have a mate who does see that." I said.

I frowned, "One day, one day you will find that one wolf" I said before turning back to the group of wolves.

Cor glances as the two males talked and shook head. 'Ehhh mates, see no reason for them if all they do it break your heart' Cor rolled her eyes and watches Soulness.- "I suggest you back off, your not wanted here so go home" -Cor growled a little-

I felt bolder with Koby at my back, He did teach me everything I know I thought before stepping between the two females. "Back off" I growled at the strange wolf.

Soulness laughs- "Why protect this worthless wolf. All she good for is bait." -Cor snarls- "Keep talking you have no family no nothing, at least I have someone to count on" -She laughs yet again- "You have no family ether...remember ?" -She licks her teeth staring at Cor. Cor's eyes starts to water and her hair start to raise.- "You....demon"

I frowned. "You shouldn't be dependent on family alone. All I have is a sister, my mother was killed when I was barely 3 months old. I killed my father. Less family makes me no less of a wolf." I growled.

Souless rolled her eyes- "Well I dont really care I have everything I need" -She looks at Cor- "Hmm you know your mother's blood was quiet tasty, sweet and enjoyable." -Cor twitch and snarl walking around Fernis- "That's it im going to tear you into pieces....you killed my family and than you have the nerve to come here."

I moved to block Cor. "No." I growled. I stepped toward Soulness and snapped at her face, forcing her back. I stopped only when she melded with the group. An uproar came from the wolves. "Silence" I yelled. "I want no bloodshed, you shouldn't either." I said striding over to the leader. "State your reason for being here and then leave. Or we won't be able to avoid bloodshed now will we?"
